Security and Privacy

Is my data safe?

Yes. All files are transmitted via HTTPS (TLS 1.3) and processed on the server. The generated XML is returned immediately in the response — neither the original file nor the XML is stored on our servers. Infrastructure is entirely in the EU (Hetzner, Finland).

Can your staff see my statements?

No. Server processing is fully automated — no manual access to file contents. Even system administrators cannot view your data.

Are you GDPR compliant?

Yes. We are an EU company (MB ProBuhalterija, reg. 304 208 845), EU servers, GDPR-aligned data handling. Full policy: Privacy Policy.

Can you delete my data?

It's already auto-deleted after conversion. If you have a paid plan and want account deletion — email convert@probankconvert.com, deleted within 7 days.

Pricing and Payments

How much does it cost?

Is there an annual discount?

Yes. Professional annual — €229 (save €119 per year). Business annual — €790 (save €158).

How do I pay?

Payment by bank transfer against invoice — email convert@probankconvert.com, we issue an invoice and activate the plan. Card payment integration is being rolled out.

Can I try it first?

Yes — the Starter plan allows one conversion per month indefinitely, no signup, no card. If you need larger-scale testing before purchasing Professional or Business — get in touch and we'll arrange it.

How do I cancel?

From your account page, or email convert@probankconvert.com. Service remains active until end of the paid period.

Supported Formats

Which banks / payment systems do you support?

Coming soon: Revolut, N26.

Do you support [my bank]?

Email convert@probankconvert.com with a sample — if the format is common, we add parsers within 1-2 weeks. Note: all EU SEPA banks support camt.053 natively — you only need a converter for non-standard formats (Stripe, Wise, PKO BP, etc.).

What are file size limits?

Currently up to 10 MB per file (both PDF and CSV). Larger? Split by period or contact us.

Which currencies are supported?

All (EUR, USD, GBP, PLN, SEK, CHF, NOK, DKK, etc.). Each currency produces a separate camt.053 file.

Accounting Software

Does it work with QuickBooks?

Yes — UK, Ireland, and EU editions support camt.053 directly. US edition may require QuickBooks Advanced.

Does it work with Xero?

Depends on country plugin. UK and EU Xero accept camt.053 via ISO 20022 plugins. Alternative — convert XML to CSV.

Does it work with Sage, SAP, NetSuite?

Yes — all support ISO 20022 camt.053 natively.

Does it work with Rivile / Pragma / Centas / Finvalda?

Yes. All major Lithuanian accounting software supports camt.053.

Email Mode and API

Can I send files via email?

Yes — on Professional and Business plans. Forward PDF/CSV to convert@probankconvert.com — you'll receive the XML back within a minute.

Is there an API?

A REST API with token-based authentication is available on the Business plan (after login — POST /api/convert). A dedicated API-key system and public documentation are in the works. If you need an integration right now, email convert@probankconvert.com.

Is there a mobile app?

No. The website is mobile-responsive — use from your phone browser.

Technical Questions

What is camt.053?

It's the ISO 20022 bank statement XML format. Full explanation here.

Which camt.053 version do you generate?

camt.053.001.02 — the most widely compatible version across accounting software.

Can I compare before/after?

The generated camt.053 XML includes an opening balance (OpeningBalance), closing balance (ClosingBalance) and the full transaction list — open the XML and you'll see the same numbers as in your bank portal. If they match, the import will be clean.

What if conversion fails?

System returns an error message and doesn't count the attempt against your quota. If you need help — send the file to convert@probankconvert.com.

Do you support historical statements?

Yes. Converting a 2019 Stripe CSV is as easy as this month's. No time limits.

Do you support Excel (.xlsx)?

Not directly. Save as CSV and upload — usually works. If the Excel has complex structure (merged cells, formulas) — clean it up first.

Who are the ProBankConvert creators?

ProBankConvert was built by MB ProBuhalterija — a Lithuanian accounting firm. We built this tool because we kept running into the same problem: clients use Wise, Stripe, PKO, but accounting software only accepts camt.053.

Do you offer accounting services?

Yes — via our main firm ProBuhalterija.lt. ProBankConvert is a separate product.
