This privacy policy explains how ProBankConvert (the "Service"), operated by MB ProBuhalterija (the "Data Controller", "we", "us"), collects, processes, and protects your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

2. What data we collect
2.1. File conversion service
When you upload a bank statement (PDF or CSV) for conversion:
- Uploaded file — processed on our server during conversion and automatically deleted immediately after conversion. The file is not stored and is not accessible to us or any third parties.
- Generated XML file — made available for download and deleted from the server within 1 hour.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, conversion time. Used only to ensure service operation and protection against abuse.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) — you request the conversion service, we perform it.
2.2. Email address
When you provide your email address through the contact form:
- Used only to send you the requested demo and trial period access.
- We do not send any marketing communications without your separate consent.
- Your email address is stored only as long as necessary to provide the requested service, but no longer than 12 months from the last contact.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
2.3. Email automation service
When you send a bank statement for conversion by email:
- Your email address is used only to reply with the converted file.
- Attached files are processed and deleted immediately after conversion.
- Email content is not stored for longer than 24 hours.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

4. Data sharing with third parties
We may share your personal data only with the following recipients:
- Server infrastructure providers (within EU/EEA) — to ensure technical operation of the service.
- Payment service providers — for payment processing (only when you make a payment).
Data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA. If such a need arises in the future, it will be done only with appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses under GDPR Art. 46).
Your data is never sold to third parties.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — to know what personal data we process about you (Art. 15).
- Right to rectification — to request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16).
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — to request deletion of your data (Art. 17).
- Right to restriction of processing — to request restriction of data processing (Art. 18).
- Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured format (Art. 20).
- Right to object — to object to data processing (Art. 21).
- Right to withdraw consent — to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal (Art. 7(3)).

6. Cookies
ProBankConvert uses only essential technical cookies necessary for the website to function (e.g., session identifier, cookie consent setting). These cookies do not collect marketing data and are not tracked by third parties.

For website traffic statistics, we use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites. Marketing cookies are not used.

- Automatic deletion of uploaded files after processing
- Access control for servers and systems
- Regular security reviews
8. Children's data
The Service is not intended for persons under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
